The challenge
Old School RuneScape players jump between the wiki, price trackers, spreadsheets, and a pile of single-purpose calculators to plan their next trip, upgrade, or flip. Most flipping tools just list the biggest price gaps, which steers players into items that never actually sell. RuneTools set out to put every tool a player needs in one fast place, with numbers they can trust.
Our approach
We built a fast, search-friendly web app that tracks the live price of every tradeable item around the clock. Flips are ranked by realistic profit per hour after the Grand Exchange tax, buy limits, and how quickly an item actually trades, and those rankings are checked against real price history. The DPS calculator and best-in-slot gear builder are tested case by case against the OSRS Wiki's own results, so players can trust every number.
